The tenicor clips are hard to take on and off compared to vedder but way more secure in my opinion. Tenicor was always better than Vedder. Vedder gets recommended a lot because they are less expensive. My next holster is a C&G.I have the velo 4. This might be a hot take but I think hindsight I woulda bought the velo 4 for the 48. The 43x velo feels a little too short for me, the extra length would put the kydex wedge in a more comfortable spot for me than basically my hip bone.
