1) I would expect warning well before getting that low on oil. A sensor could be bad possibly. 2) The dealership (or whoever) that did the last oil change may not have done something right. Assuming they did put enough oil in to begin with, something was probably loose that allowed oil to come out.As you probably know if the BMS is not reset there could be issues with some features including stop/start down the track as the car still 'thinks' it is dealing with the old battery. If you do not have Forscan a battery dealer with a scan tool could probably do it for you cheaper than Walmart or Ford. I had someone do mine for A$25.
