Jul 7, 2016 · We're exactly is the orifice tube on a 05 379 Peterbilt…. the orifice tube is located in the line between condenser and evaporator. near the spring lock coupling. you must unbolt the cruise servo and overflow bottle, re-position them out of way and you will see the line connection..the orifice is inside line near that union. the ac system ... Well, you know that the leveling valve was changed and that's when the problem started. So there's a 99.99% chance that's where the problem is. There are two possibilities. 1 - It was riding low and the mechanic set it to the correct spec, so now it's higher, but where it belongs. 2 - It was at the correct height and the mechanic set it too high.
