After performing the examination, VES sent the results to VA within 3 days or less. Once received by VA, it would be up to them. I have had two experiences, one last year and one this year. Last year, the examination process was slower, but the VA decision was quicker. This year, the process was lightning fast, but the VA decision has taken longer. What happens after my exam? • VA will review all the evidence in your file, make a decision regarding the issues claimed, and send you a decision notification letter. • Each claim is different, but it usually takes 3 to 4 months to process a claim from start to finish.
