I have a 2003 1500 carb.. and a 2008 1600 FI. although the carb one is OK..I like the FI one better. it seems smoother and warms up a lot faster. No real problems for me on either. 2008 1600 Vulcan Classic. 2003 1500 Vulcan Classic. 2014 suzuki c50 boss edition. .

Hello, I have a 1996 Vulcan 1500 classic with 22K on it. It runs perfect but recently I have been experiencing starting problems. I have checked the battery and it is good. When you hit the start button it sometimes does nothing, other times it will cause a clicking/buzzing sound, and other times it will begin to turn the engine over and start.But most likely Kawasaki heat treats all gears together in one batch, so in this case they may have produced an entire manufacturing run of 6th gears with the same problem.
