KU Alumni Association Adams Alumni Center 1266 Oread Ave., Lawrence, KS 66045She attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a degree in finance. [2] She currently works in finance full-time and is a member of Historical Novel Society and the Women’s Fiction Writers Association. [3] Penner currently lives in Florida with her husband Marc and their miniature dachshund Zoe. [2]She volunteers locally with Step MC and with Kansas Mission of Mercy. Both regularly host student interns and serve as volunteers at Camp Colorado for the Church of the Brethren, and were youth group sponsors for the Columbus Mennonite Church.
