PS idoing is amazing. Nope no adapters for wireless carplay, comes with the newer idoing units. Dang that is sweet. I know there are adapters that connect to the USB that enable wirelsss CarPlay but they cost $100 and I haven’t seen any reviews with the idoing unit. I contacted iDoing and they responded with the following info about updating the software. Herein lies the issue. I have attached to download the software linked - placed it onto a USB stick and tried plugging that into the Headunit"s usb ports - I can not seem to be able to detect/upgrade the software as they show in the video.iDoing head unit install in 2015 Forester. Then plug them into the other yellow video plugs. The iDoing head unit is a lot more slimline and doesn't jut out in the back like the OEM headunit, so it apparently doesn't require the same mounting brackets that the OEM uses (I already checked for this while swapping the vents/HVAC components to the new one). Oh, and it looks stock! Had the iDoing head unit in my 2015 XV Crosstrek for about two weeks now. Audio quality on mine has been really good. The unit definitely has a lot of power actually-- I never turn the volume more than 13.
