Hughesnet system control center not working
We received the new Mesh Node extender 2 days after ordering it. ($99 added to our account). It is installed and working. Wi-Fi Signal strength outside at our generator is about 20% which is just good enough to keep our generator online. An update to my problem. I've been checking on our connection every once in a while to see if the techs addressed my problem. Earlier today when I went online our connection was pretty good with most of the pages loading up pretty fast while others took anywhere between 10 - 20 seconds to start loading. i noticed in the System controller Status page, under Web Acceleration Status an bold "[S ...I lived near Yosemite National Park and am a senior citizen. I've tried setting the dns to Google's, and setting it to get from ISP. Nothing works. At least nothing beyond the router works. I've power cycled, and rebooted in the router setup. As the subject says, I havent had internet since last night and the system light is off. (The other lights occasionally flash, not frequently though) I've tried the suggestions that I have read in other threads. I have checked cables, unplugged, plugged, reset and none of these things have helped. That was the problem. It's working fine, now. I'm going to go back to using Google's DNS servers as the adapter on my desktop likes to change the DNS address multiple times if I have it set to automatic. Locking in Google's DNS stops this from happening. I don't know what you mean about ma... The reps are normally on M-F from approximately 8AM to 5PM EST, though once in a while there is one on during the weekends and/or evenings. Even though you can't connect, it would still be a good idea to leave the modem plugged in so that the reps can attempt to run remote diagnostics on it.
