For students admitted to the college prior to Fall 2014 the graduation honors policy is as follows:Graduation distinctions are determined by the grade-point average (GPA) system and are based entirely on grades earned in Wake Forest courses. Policy ending with the 2023 graduating class: A candidate with a cumulative average of not less than 3.8 for all courses attempted is graduated with the distinction summa cum laude.Distinction at graduation ( policy 88-00) is awarded to baccalaureate degree candidates with: at least 60 credits (30 credits for associate degree candidates) earned at Penn State. A student's distinction level is determined based on the final cumulative grade point average in the semester in which the student's degree is conferred.
