You sure it wasn't for some Witcher gear in Dragonslayer Grotto? I ask because this happened to me. I ran into it accidentally in the woods, bailed and took refuge in the cave. After nearly dying from the wraiths heal up a bit and wander down the passage towards what ends up being the vamire (Ekimara?) just before I hurdle the rubble it pops up in this …Working my way through Dragonslayers Grotto near Reardon Manor, hadn't killed all the wraiths and was in between the deadly flammable gas bit using an igni heavy build, wanted to turn back and heal in a safe area and I'm just bombarded by roots, and gas and a wraith and it was a whole mess, I had no idea wtf it was and it straight up killed me ...So at the end of the grotto, there is a rock that lights up with the witcher sense. Its got a symbol that looks like a swirly sun. I'm assuming there is a way to get thru it, but i cant figure it out? Anyone know how to?

I've only found two encounters with Ekimmaras so far, Dragonslayer's Grotto - Velen and Quest: Following The Thread - Novigrad. AFAIK your last hope is the one Ekimamra who drops trophy (Witcher Contract one), but chances of it dropping two hides is non existent i think. P.S.
